Once again, the Italians have amazed us with a new hypercar breed that is extremely rare. The Corbellati Missile has been introduced and as the name suggests, it’s definitely not kidding around – it actually resembles a missile.
Corbaletti recently presented their new hypercar at the Geneva Motor Show in 2018. The car is engineered to provide unparalleled performance, boasting some remarkably impressive figures, with the aim of achieving the title of ‘the fastest hypercar in the world’.
In order to make a grand entrance, the creators of this vehicle have installed a huge 9.0-liter twin-turbo, quad-cam V8 engine onto its carbon fiber frame. It boasts an impressive 1,800 horsepower and a whopping 2,350Nm of torque that is delivered to the rear wheels through a six-speed gearbox and limited-slip differential. The Missile is equipped with double wishbone suspension featuring in-board dampers and air springs to tackle bumps and uneven terrain, and six-piston calipers to bring the car to a stop with its carbon ceramic brakes.
To add some excitement, the carbon fiber exterior of the vehicle is designed to enhance stability at high speeds. Additionally, it has been expertly crafted to withstand speeds exceeding 500 km/h, which is equivalent to 311mph for those who may struggle with numerical calculations.
Corbellati emphasized their dedication to creating a one-of-a-kind hypercar that combines exceptional performance with distinctive design, much like a precious gem. The Missile stands out as the swiftest and most exquisite road jewel globally, blending sophistication and innovation seamlessly.
